Christmas Light Installation in Campbellville
Christmas light installation in the hamlet of Campbellville and on the rural properties of north Milton near the escarpment.
Campbellville is a hamlet within the Town of Milton, set among the farms, woodlots and escarpment country of the north end, near the Conservation Halton parks at Kelso and Rattlesnake Point. Its properties are a different lighting job from anything in town: larger houses on bigger lots, long driveways, mature spruce and pine, split-rail fences and gate posts. The display is often as much landscape as roofline, with a wrapped conifer at the end of the drive or lit fence posts doing more than another hundred feet of eave. Exposure is the other difference. These lots are open to wind and drifting snow in a way the town's sheltered streets are not, so fastenings are heavier and ground connections are raised well above where drifts settle. Power can be far from where the lights are wanted; long runs are planned around outlet capacity, and new outdoor outlets are a Licensed Electrical Contractor's job. Check the name on your electricity bill; most of Milton is Milton Hydro territory, but the bill is the authority.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover Campbellville and rural Milton?
Yes. Campbellville, the Guelph Line and Appleby Line corridors and the rural concessions are quoted on the same basis as town streets. Longer driveways and bigger trees change the plan, not the terms.
Is my house on Milton Hydro?
If you are inside the Town of Milton, almost certainly; Milton Hydro's licence covers the Town as it stood in 1990, with a few listed exceptions. The name on your bill is the one that counts, and the Ontario Energy Board sets the price plan either way.
Can you light a whole townhouse row to match?
Yes, and in Willmott, Ford and Harrison it is often the neatest result. Each owner, or the condominium corporation, agrees to the plan in writing; the row is quoted together and each owner is invoiced for their own frontage.
